If you are planning to go for serious roles, I would go for Patricia to give yourself that extra something. Patti I think is more for a comedic type actress. Then in time you can go from Patti to Patricia the same way Larry Fisburne went to Laurence Fishburne.
Reply:well i think it depends on your last name. I personally like Patti better, but if it doesn%26#039;t flow as well as Patricia with your last name then I would go with Patricia.

The name has dropped in popularity so much in the last 40 years, that I you can%26#039;t call yourself Patti without being associated with Patti Lupone, or Peppermint Patti .
