I saw it Saturday night. The staging was wonderful. There was applaud for the stage at each act. The main characters (Magda and Ruggiero) were not that great. Lisette was phenomenal. Prunier and Rambaldo also sang their roles well. The recording I own has Domingo and Te Kanawa singing the main roles, so I don%26#039;t know how fair it is to compare Saturday night%26#039;s singers to them. I%26#039;m a Puccini fan and own recordings of all of his operas. I have seen most of them live more than once. This was not the best La Rondine.
